I used to buy Converse shoes like nurses/waitresses wear. Also Catipiller (like the tratcors) brnad steel toes. The have 3 layer insoles. Both very nice and too spendy.

:O 8-12 miles of walking? why can't you just by running shoes? they are the best go to your local shoe place and find the best shoe for your foot if its too expensive find that same shoe online for cheaper or some otehr stroe :)

it dosen't matter if it lokos ugly or nedry. taikng care of your feet is a big deal don't risk buying converse (i love converse but when your walking 8-12 miles per day eh plus they have no support for your feet and can damage your legs, hip, or back) or any other shoe with no support.
